Alpina Blitz is a steel roller coaster located at Nigloland in Dolancourt, Champagne-Ardenne, France. It was manufactured by Mack Rides and constructed by RCS GmbH.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

In July 2009, the park announced that it would install a new roller coaster for 2012, its 25th season.[2] In 2010, the opening was pushed back a year, to 2013.[3] It was subsequently revealed that Mack Rides were designing this roller coaster.[4] The opening date was later pushed back further to 2014.

Track arrived on site in November 2013.[1] Alpina Blitz opened on April 12, 2014.[5]

Design[edit | edit source]

The ride has a track layout similar, but not identical, to that of a Mega-Lite.
