Anton Schwarzkopf (8 July 1924 - 30 July 2001) was a German engineer and designer of roller coasters and flat rides, and the founder of Schwarzkopf Industries, which built many rides, both permanent and transportable. Schwarzkopf is perhaps best known for re-inventing the vertical loop, with Revolution at Six Flags Magic Mountain, which opened in 1976.[1]
