History
The ride opened as Italian Job: Turbo Coaster on May 27, 2006, during Kings Dominion's final season under Paramount Parks/CBS ownership.

Theming
The ride is themed around a runaway car. Halfway through the ride, a police chopper fires bullets at the guests, then the car is off again down into the lengthy tunnel.
