Crash Test is a steel spinning roller coaster built by French manufacturer Cedeal Rides currently owned by UK showmen Freddy Davis and Spencer Stokes. Since 2020 the coaster has spent the majority of its time at Ocean Beach Pleasure Park in South Shields, Tyne & Wear, England, UK.

History

It previously travelled with Hendriks-Hinzen in the Netherlands. It was originally intended to debut in 2012, however it was delayed until the following year.

The ride opened at Ocean Beach on May 4, 2018.[1] It has also operated at the AIA Great European Carnival in Hong Kong during the 2017–18 and 2018–19 winters.

In summer 2019, the ride operated at Southport Pleasureland in an area formerly occupied by a go-kart track.[2]

Design

Red track with yellow supports.

Trains

Single cars. Riders are arranged 4 across in a single row, for a total of 4 riders per car. Each rider has their own lap-bar with an attached handrail.
