HELP

Cyclone was a steel roller coaster built by Italian manufacturer Pinfari that was previously located at Rotunda Amusements in Folkestone, Kent, England, UK.

History

Park owners Associated Leisure installed the ride as a replacement for the Whirlwind Racer, which had been scrapped at the beginning of 1975 due to maintenance costs.[1] In November 1981, the Bembom family took control of the park and the Cyclone was one of a small number of rides retained by them.[2] The ride was relocated within the park to accommodate the new Looping Star, however, it only lasted for one season in this position. At the beginning of 1983, it was sold to Jimmy Godden for use at Funland Park in Folkestone, a few miles along the coast.
