The Dark Knight Coaster is an enclosed steel wild mouse roller coaster located at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois, USA.

History

On September 27, 2007, it was announced that The Dark Knight Coaster would be coming to three Six Flags parks. One of these parks was Six Flags Great America.[1]

In preparation for The Dark Knight Coaster's construction, the Theater Royale building was extensively modified and rethemed as a Gotham City Rail terminal. It officially opened on May 21, 2008.[2]

For the 2022 season, the park added a single rider line to the attraction.[3]
