Disneyland Paris is the first theme park at the Disneyland Paris resort in Marne la Vallée, Île-de-France, France. The second theme park of the resort being Walt Disney Studios Park.

History

When the park first opened on 12 April 1992, it was known as Euro Disney. It initially became a major financial failure from the start.[1] In the fall of 1994, it was renamed Disneyland Paris.[2]

In June 2017, The Walt Disney Company gained full ownership of the park.
