Retractable platforms allow riders to board floorless cars

The Floorless Coaster is a type of train from Bolliger & Mabillard which does not have a floor, allowing riders' to see the track beneath their feet.

Newer Dive Coaster installations have also had floorless trains, with up to ten riders per row. Some former stand-up roller coasters, such as Mantis at Cedar Point, have floorless trains added later in their lives.

The first Floorless Coaster, Bizarro at Six Flags Great Adventure, opened in 1999.
