Lawrence 'Larry' Bill is a civil engineer who has worked on over sixty roller coaster projects with three companies. He has almost exclusively designed wooden roller coasters. Bill is currently an engineer at The Gravity Group.[1]
History
Bill began working at Curtis D. Summers, Inc. in the 1980s as an engineer. He was involved in the design of many wooden roller coasters, including those built by Summers in conjunction with Dinn Corporation.[2] Following Summer's death in 1992 and the closure of Dinn Corporation, Bill was hired by Custom Coasters International, along with several other former employees of Curtis D. Summers, Inc.[3]
Following the closure of Custom Coasters International in July 2002, four former employees including Bill went on to form The Gravity Group later that year.
