HELP |
Pipeline Express was a steel roller coaster located at Wild Water & Wheels in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. It was one of six roller coasters built by Bailey Rides, and the last remaining one prior to its demolition in 2019.
History
In May 2019, park CEO Bryan Perkins revealed that Pipeline Express would not reopen for 2019 and was due to be demolished the following week. He said the decision to remove the attraction was made due to its deteriorating condition and high maintenance costs, and that a new attraction was planned for 2020.[1]
Design
White track with blue supports.
Riders sat in a small car, with handrails on either side to hold on. The station was at the highest point of the ride, meaning the lift hill was located at the end of the ride. To depart, the ride attendant would push the car forward.
Trains
Single car trains. Riders are arranged inline in a single row for a total of 1 riders per car.
