Rhaegal is a steel roller coaster located at Le Fleury in Wavrechain-sous-Faulx, Hauts-de-France, France. It was the most northerly coaster in the United Kingdom when it operated at Landmark Forest Adventure Park. It was built by I.E. Park.
Design
The ride has a compact and twisted layout which finishes with a helix. When the ride first opened, it had green track and yellow supports. Shortly after, the supports were repainted brown to look like wood.
Trains
Single train with 6 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, for a total of 24 riders per train.
Incident
On 12 August 2021, one car partially derailed, causing the train to come to a stop on a section of track close to the ground. Nobody was hospitalised, however, two children were injured and another six riders were assessed by paramedics. Runaway Timber Train was subsequently closed to allow investigations to be carried out.[1]
In December 2021, park management stated that the Runaway Timber Train would be removed from the park.[2]
