HELP

Supersonic Odyssey is an indoor steel roller coaster located at Berjaya Times Square Theme Park in Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is a custom installation from Intamin which opened on 29 November 2003.

Design

Elements

This ride has an unusual layout, as the lift hill is in the middle of the ride, between the heartline roll and the vertical loop. An elevated walkway passes through the middle of the loop.

Trains

6 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, for a total of 24 riders per train. Riders are held in by over-the-shoulder harnesses.

The roller coaster took three years to construct, which explains why it uses the older Intamin looping coaster trains, unlike Colossus at Thorpe Park, which opened a year earlier in 2002.
