Thunderbird is a wooden roller coaster located at PowerLand in Alahärmä, Vaasa, West-Finland. It is the furthest-north wooden roller coaster in the world. It is also the first European roller coaster built by Great Coasters International.

Design[edit | edit source]

The ride is a wooden roller coaster manufactured by Great Coasters International. A clone of the ride named American Thunder was built at Six Flags St. Louis in 2008.

Trains[edit | edit source]

2 trains with 12 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row for a total of 24 riders per train. Thunderbird has Millennium Flyer trains built also by Great Coasters International.
