History[edit]

The ride opened in 1979 and was called Jr. Gemini, after its larger cousin, Gemini. It was the first roller coaster built by Intamin.[1]

On August 27, 2013, it was announced that Jr. Gemini would be renamed Wilderness Run and its entrance moved into the Camp Snoopy area for the 2014 season.[2] Subsequently, the colour scheme was changed from blue track and supports to green track with brown supports.
