Big Apple was a steel family roller coaster located at Dreamland Margate in Margate, Kent, England, UK. A Big Apple roller coaster has been seen in a 1983 park map, an 1989 and a 1990 park map. It is believed to have operated in at least three different locations around the park. It is uncertain whether the same roller coaster has operated continuously or the unit has been changed.

History[edit | edit source]

This was the first Pinfari Big Apple coaster to open in the United Kingdom.

The roller coaster was replaced by the Looping Star in 2001.[1]

Design[edit | edit source]

This roller coaster had two trains and a rotating station, which allowed one train to load and unload while another on the main circuit. The second train and rotating station were eventually removed.
