2008 - American Thunder, a Great Coasters International wooden coaster opened at Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka, Missouri, United States.
1998 - Twisted Sisters, a Custom Coasters International, Inc. Wooden Twin hybrid roller coaster opened at Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Kentucky, United States.
1997 - Cyclone at Williams Grove Amusement Park in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, United States, reopened after being repaired following the events of a fire damaging the ride.
1985 - Monstre, a wooden coaster opened at La Ronde in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Its second track opened a year later, making it a twin.
