El Loco is a steel roller coaster located at Adventuredome in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. It was built by S&S Worldwide and is the sixth El Loco model and the second to be built in the United States. The ride features two inversions and single car trains.

The ride is located where the splash down for Rim Runner, an Arrow Dynamics boat ride, previously stood.

Unlike all previous El Loco installations, the ride does not have a "beyond-vertical" drop. Instead, the drop is around 90 degrees steep.

History

Track arrived on-site in early September and the final piece was installed on December 12, 2013. It was opened on February 18, 2014.

Design

Elements

El Loco has yellow track and black supports. Its layout is a more custom layout compared to other El Locos manufactured by S&S.

Trains

2 cars. Riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows for a total of 4 riders per car. The ride has trains with lap-bars and on-board sound.
