Neue Traumland was an amusement park in Bottrop, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The site where this park was located is now home to Movie Park Germany.

History[edit | edit source]

The park was established as Kirchhellener Märchenwald in 1967.

On 19 May 1977 the park opened as Traumlandpark. It operated until 1991. During 1992 and 1993, the attraction operated under new ownership as Bavaria Filmpark Bottrop but without any rides. Following its closure in 1993, the site would be redeveloped as Warner Bros. Movie World Germany .
