Wild Mouse was a wooden wild mouse roller coaster located at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, UK. It was built in-house by Frank Wright and opened in 1958.
History[edit | edit source]
The ride was modified by the Velare Brothers in the 1960s; the lift hill was extended and the first two drops were added.[1]
In January 2018, a photograph leaked online which indicated that the roller coaster had been demolished. It had been closed for maintenance for several months prior. A statement was subsequently released by the park confirming that the coaster had been removed. Following its closure no wooden Wild Mouse roller coasters remain in the northern hemisphere.
