A car contains seats for riders on roller coasters. They are often found in a group of several other conjoined cars called a train. Most wild mouse roller coasters, however, contain only one car per train.
Types of cars
- Bolliger & Mabillard uses cars that seat four abreast. They are the only manufacturer who currently do so.
- Intamin, Arrow Dynamics, and many other manufacturers have four-passenger trains that seat riders in two rows of two across.
- In Wing Coasters, the seats on the car lie beside the track, versus the top of it.
- Many Hyper Coasters use staggered seating to help give all riders a good view of the surroundings.
