HELP

City Jet was a steel roller coaster which operated at two amusement parks in New Jersey, USA.

History[edit | edit source]

Prior to arriving at Gillian's Wonderland Pier in 1976, this roller coaster operated at Steel Pier.

The original Schwarzkopf cars were replaced with new cars from Wieland Schwarzkopf Amusement Rides & Parts Services for the 2004 season. One of the original cars was donated to the National Roller Coaster Museum, with the others used for spare parts.[1]

In December 2004, the park announced that the City Jet had been sold and was in the process of being dismantled. It was sold as part of a deal in which the park received the Runaway Train roller coaster.[2]

City Jet was planned to open in 2006 at All Star Adventures in Kansas. However this fell through and the roller coaster has since been listed for sale.
