Daffy Duck Magic Motorcade was a Roundabout built by US manufacturer Hampton Rides previously located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey, USA.
History:
The ride first opened with the park on July 1, 1974 as Dune Buggies. It was situated in the park's Ride-a-Rama children's area.
In 1976, the Ride-a-Rama area was removed for a new park entrance and the ride was relocated to the new Kiddies Kingdom children's area and renamed Speed Racers. It would later be relocated within the area in 1979 regaining the original Dune Buggies name.
In 1984, the Kiddies Kingdom area was renamed to Shirt Tales Land after the Shirt Tales TV series and the ride was renamed to Mr Dinkle's Dune Buggies, after the Shirt Tales character Mr. Dinkle. The new theme of the area would not last long, as the Shirt Tales characters were soon replaced as Six Flags acquired the rights to the Looney Tunes characters upon acquiring Six Flags Great America during the same year from Marriott.
In 1985, Shirt Tales Land was renamed to Looney Tunes Land and the ride was renamed to Daffy Duck's Dune Buggies after the character Daffy Duck.
In 1988, Looney Tunes Land became known as Bugs Bunny Land and the ride was renamed to Daffy Duck Magic Motorcade.
The ride would continue to operate at the park until Bugs Bunny World closed after the 2004 season to make room for the new Golden Kingdom area in 2005. After closure, the ride was removed from the park with its fate unknown.[1]
