HELP

Djengu River is a River Rapids ride built by German manufacturer HAFEMA Water Rides currently located at Attractiepark Toverland in Sevenum, Limburg, Netherlands.

Design

Elements

The ride winds through the Magische Vallei (Dutch for Magic Valley) area. Riders pass by outdoor scenes of the Dwervels living their everyday lives. Dwervels are the creatures inhabiting Magische Vallei.

Boats

10 cars. Riders are arranged 3 across in 3 rows, for a total of 9 riders per car.

Incident

Four riders where send to the hospital after a rough ride on 23 July 2013.[1] The cause of the incident was a malfunction in the boat, causing it to fill with water. This resulted in the boat becoming heavier than intended, giving riders the rough ride that resulted in the injuries. [2]
