HELP |
Duplo Dino Coaster is a steel kiddie roller coaster located at Legoland Windsor in Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK. It is situated in the Duplo Valley themed area and was opened on 14 March 2020.[1]
History
A planning application for the installation of a roller coaster was submitted by the park in August 2019. The roller coaster was officially announced on 10 September as Duplo Dream Coaster.[2]
However, later in development, the name was changed to Duplo Dino Coaster, and in January 2020, it was announced that the ride would be opening on 14 March 2020.[3]
Design
Duplo Dino Coaster features jungle scenery throughout the ride. The theme is based on the Duplo product line. It has a similar oval-shaped layout and design to Ba-a-a Express at Europa Park, a similar design of kiddie coaster from Mack Rides. Light blue track and green supports.
Trains
Single train with 5 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 10 riders per train. The train is a custom design shaped like DUPLO bricks.
