HELP

Himalaya was a steel roller coaster located at Luneur Park in Rome, Lazio, Italy. It was one of the first roller coasters built by Pinfari. It is one of two Zyklon Z78 models.

History

Himalaya was manufactured in the 1960s and was one of three Z78 models known to be built, the other two being Flying Dutchman at Dorney Park and Tornado at Mega Park. The Z78 is the largest product in the Zyklon line.

Himalaya was built in the 1960s and was owned by the Lattini family. It was removed after the 2001 season due to interior corrosion of the track and supports. The connections between the track and columns had also been weakened by corrosion.
