Hurricane is the name of a compact roller coaster product from Dutch firm Vekoma. There were two installations, one of which is still operating.
History
The first Hurricane model was Comet at Walygator Grand Est in France. It officially opened in 1989.
Seven years after the opening of Comet, a second installation opened at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It was called Joker's Revenge. Unlike the other one, the ride featured backwards trains. Joker's Revenge only operated for six seasons before its closure in 2001. It did not operate at all throughout the 2002 season. Then in 2003, it was relocated to Six Flags New Orleans and received a refurbishment. This included a new name, Jester.
