The Joker is a hybrid conversion of the park's former Great Coasters International wooden roller coaster Roar which has three inversions, two of which are first time used: step-up under flip and barrel roll. Changes that the ride underwent during its conversion include an increase in height from 94.6 feet to 100 feet, an increase in speed from 50 mph to 53 mph and an increase in drop angle from 45° to 78°, along with the addition of three inversions to the ride.
