Odyssey (formerly Jubilee Odyssey) is a steel inverted roller coaster located at Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells, Lincolnshire, England, UK.

Odyssey is one of two custom Vekoma Suspended Looping Coaster roller coasters. However, it is the only Suspended Looping Coaster to feature unique inversions and a completely different track layout.

History

The first details for this roller coaster were revealed in 2000. It was planned to be the tallest inverted roller coaster at a height of 81 metres tall with a 61 metres tall vertical loop, which would have been the highest inversion.[1] The plans were reduced in scale, with the final coaster being 50.9 metres tall.

The attraction originally opened as the Jubilee Odyssey on 25 May 2002 to commemorate the golden jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. For the 2014 season, this was dropped and the roller coaster is now called Odyssey. In 2016, the colour scheme was changed from red track with white supports to yellow track with slate grey supports.[2]
