Legoland Shanghai is a theme park in Jinshan, Shanghai, China.
History
In March 2017 it was announced that a Legoland park would be built near Dianshan Lake in Qingpu District, Shanghai. At this time, the expected opening date was 2022.[1] In November 2019, a press release from Merlin Entertainments revealed a revised location and opening date of after 2023.[2] As of March 2024 the park is expected to open in Summer 2025.[3]
A ceremony to mark the official start of construction took place in November 2021.[4]
