Rail Chaster is a steel enclosed dark ride roller coaster currently located at Haailand Resort & Theme Park in Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh, India. It previously operated at Sega World Sydney.[1][2]
History
The ride originally opened on March 6, 1997 as part of Sega World Sydney in Darling Harbour, New South Wales, Australia. It was themed to the Rail Chase video game, with guests having to shoot at enemies during the themed roller coaster ride. It was situated in the themed area "The Past".[1] The ride closed with Sega World and was relocated to India where it reopened as Rail Chaster in Haailand. It would now be themed to a trip through ancient China, where buddist monks take on the last Chinese dragon.
