Saratoga Resort was a visitor attraction in Lehi, Utah, USA.
History
In 1966, the Little Dipper and the Tunnel of Terror were added.[1]
In May 1968, a fire destroyed the indoor swimming pool building, the arcade (housed in the former dance hall), and several food stands and dressing rooms. During the 1978 season, the park decided to sell most of its amusement rides and focus on its kiddie and water attractions. In 1979, the "Kamikaze Slide", a 350 foot long water slide, was built.[2]
The park was severely damaged as water hit record levels during the floods in 1983. Saratoga Resort ultimately closed in 1993 and in 1995 Mick Eastmond sold the site to property developers.[3]
The Kamikaze slide remained standing until it was demolished in 2011.[4]
