Sprookjesvaart was a Scenic Boat Ride located at Anna's Hoeve in Hilversum, North Holland, Netherlands. It had a concrete trough which still exists today. A roller coaster, opened in the 1960s, passed over this ride. This was replaced with a more modern coaster in the 1970s.
Etymology
Sprookjesvaart is dutch for "Fairy tale sailing"
Design
The ride originally used wooden boats with a particular shape, making them look like coffins, this was probably not intended [1]
The ride later used Log Flume boats, despite having no drops.[2]
Theme
The ride was loosely themed to fairy tales, with garden gnomes and miniature castles scattered around the trough.
