I was in line during the collision and saw it happen. Additional context is that the lift chain was not running, though I don’t know why. Sounds coming from the drive equipment told me that the operators attempted to turn it on but something failed, which is why the empty test train they sent out stopped once it reached the chain. Based on a Youtube video I found, it appears Orion was shut down and evacuated earlier on the same day, this time from behind the station. D0gbone (talk) 15:28, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

@D0gbone Thanks for this, all useful information to have recorded. Though for the article itself we need to keep it vague until we have other sources confirming the details. I'm surprised nobody else is reporting on this. Did the trains definitely bump or just get very close to each other? Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 22:14, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
