Cú Chulainn is a wooden roller coaster located at Emerald Park in Ashbourne, Meath, Ireland. When it opened on June 4 2015 it surpassed Coaster-Express located at Parque Warner Madrid in San Martín de la Vega, Community of Madrid, Spain it surpassed it not in track length but ride length as Cú Chulainn has a ride time of 3 minutes while Coaster-Express is only 2 minutes.

Cú Chulainn is the 17th coaster from The Gravity Group, LLC. It was built by The Gravitykraft Corporation

History

Cú Chulainn was officially introduced on June 6, 2015, It opened with the 2015 season without any special events. It was launched with two statements being "the longest rollercoaster in Europe and the only wooden rollercoaster with an inversion. The inversion was no where to be found instead a overbanked turn took its place at 115 degrees. The coaster reached a height of 32 meters and a speed of 90 km/h. The Cú Chulainn added to The Gravity Group LCC long list of wooden coasters dating back to their first one Boardwalk Bullet in 2007.

The Train leaves the station into a small drop and a 90 degree turn before heading into the chain lift which climbs up to 32 meters before dropping 32.2 and hitting 3 Gs and the bottom of the hill.
