Thunder Island Amusement Park is a small family owned park in Fulton, New York, USA near Syracuse New York. It was opened in 1979 by Harry and Tammie Perau. It was then purchased by Ron and Lisa Falise in 2018 following the Perau's retirement. In August 2021, owner Ron Falise was tragically killed in a tractor accident. The park has remained dormant ever since and as of April 3, 2022 it is currently for sale.[1][2][3]
Thunder Island has hosted a variety of amusement rides throughout its history. Today, it mostly hosts a water park and banquet center.
