Thunderbird is a wooden roller coaster located at PowerLand in Alahärmä, Vaasa, West-Finland. Opened in 2006, it is the furthest-north wooden roller coaster in the world. It is also the first European roller coaster built by Great Coasters International.
Design
Thunderbird is a wooden roller coaster manufactured by Great Coasters International. A clone of the ride named American Thunder was built at Six Flags St. Louis in 2008.
Trains
2 trains with 12 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 24 riders per train. Thunderbird has Millennium Flyer trains also built by Great Coasters International.
