Balagos - Flying Flame is a Vekoma steel roller coaster located at Avonturenpark Hellendoorn in Hellendoorn, Overijssel, Netherlands. It was the second Vekoma roller coaster installed in the Netherlands when it opened. From 1990 to 2020, the ride was once named Tornado.

Colour scheme

Orange track and black supports. The ride used to feature yellow track and green supports.

Trains

Single train with 7 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, for a total of 28 riders per train.

2021 Renovation

On September 17, 2020, Hellendoorn revealed on their blog that Tornado would receive a makeover in 2021, including new lap bar trains, and a new name.[1] This name was chosen from fan suggestions on Facebook. The new name would eventually be "Balagos - Flying Flame".[2]
