M&D's

Thanks for updating the M&D's page, do you know where the Disco ride came from? Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 19:05, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi!, sorry for not replying as I just figured out how to respond. The Disco came from Holland on the travelling circuit :) RideMadness (talk) 20:21, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ah, yep you can use the "reply" link if you're on PC or alternatively, the edit link at the top right. If you're on a phone, you need to tap the title first then reply in the box. Hope this helps! I'd forgotten all about the Disk'O, thanks for the info Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 20:42, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

M&D's trip

Hello, I am hoping to go to M&D's in the next couple of weeks. Anything in particular I should look out for? I will try and get lots of photos for the website! Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 01:00, 10 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi, there should be a new pinfari apple coaster which is a trailer version when their old non-trailer version was sold a few weeks ago to UK showman Walter Murphy. There will also be some travelling rides from other families with Christian Hornes' Freak Out may return after having a tour of Newcastle as they left M&Ds a few weeks ago, which may turn back up which they've also brought their "Rock Star" Maxwell waltzer recently. For M&Ds own rides, they've sold Tornado to France and Disko has now moved to the log flume position and the log flume is now in the kid rides position. The theme park will possibly open from June 7th (depending if council accepts the entertainment license) due to it being council land which they hired out to the Taylor family for 99 years back in 1996. Thank you for this. 7th June? Last time I checked on the website they were open now! I'll have to double check then. I'm coming from Aberdeenshire and it's a PITA to get to by public transport so I don't want to show up and it's shut! Best wishes Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 20:35, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, I assume that the date will be from June 7th if everything stays to plan with the government & the virus. The website is out of date and has not been updated, they done this last year also. An announcement may be coming out soon I recommend checking their Facebook for further information :) RideMadness (talk) 22:06, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ah, you're right. I've checked the website again and looks like they're opening up Friday 11th. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 20:12, 15 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hi, they've just announced they are opening tomorrow on their facebook! - I've had a look on the website and there is no fun point option, and then for the other days the book tickets isn't even existing. I've got a season pass so I am not too worried, but the thing I'm wondering is how did they manage to get round this when its meant to be Tier 1 only? which is why I am confused, as surely they'd make sure the fun points were up before publicly announcing? RideMadness (talk) 17:19, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Looks like they're opening this weekend but not the one after, and you can purchase the fun points on the days that they're open. I imagine you can show up and purchase them on site too. I'm not sure, and no idea what the rules are surrounding tiers. Codona's is open and I think Aberdeen is tier 2... I'll probably check it out then in the second week in June. I can't see how much a season pass is either. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 20:08, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, seems like there is a loop hole. And no I don't think that the codonas are open yet, only the go karts, food and golf? and for the fun points only got added about 8pm. Season passes were £100, which you can't buy now. I managed to get one at Christmas on a sale at £60 RideMadness (talk) 21:23, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
You may be right, the Go-Karts and golf are deffo open but the rides may not be. It's been a while since I last visited. Thanks for keeping me updated! Hopefully they'll have everything sorted by mid June Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 21:45, 28 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
