Krákaton is a steel roller coaster currently located at VulQano Park in Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador.

History

The ride originally opened at Fantasilandia in 1994, it was named Cyclon during its time there. It would continue to operate until December 2004, after which it would be taken down and shipped to Ecuador. The Vekoma built inverted coaster Raptor would eventually open in its former spot.

Cyclon would reopen at VulQano Park on 7 February 2005, now dawning the name Montaña Rusa which translates to Roller Coaster in Spanish. It would eventually be renamed to Krákaton around 2018.

Red track and silver supports. The coaster used to feature red track and white supports.

3 trains with 3 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, for a total of 12 riders per train.
