Maximus is a steel roller coaster built by Dutch manufacturer Vekoma currently located at Crealy Adventure Park & Resort in Exeter, Devon, England, UK.

History

From 2000 to 2009, the ride was known as Pastil Loco. Some signs around the ride (and on the park's website) refer to the ride as Maximus the ride. Most sources either call it Maximus or Maximus rollercoaster.

Design

Elements

After the train climbs the lift hill, riders travel through a series of twists and turns before reaching the brake run.

Colour scheme

Brown track and Brown supports. The ride used to have Blue track and yellow supports from 2010-2021. When the ride was known as Pastil Loco, it had red track and green supports.

Trains

Single train with 8 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 16 riders per train.
