Oscar's Wacky Taxi is a wooden family roller coaster at Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, USA. It opened in May 26, 2018 and was manufactured by the Gravitykraft Corporation.

History

Oscar's Wacky Taxi was announced in September 2017.[1]

The lead car was on display at IAAPA 2017.[2] The ride opened on May 26, 2018, with an opening ceremony being held on June 1.

Design

Elements

The ride is a family wooden roller coaster from the Gravitykraft Corporation, similar to Roar-O-Saurus at Story Land. It is also the largest investment in Sesame Place's 37-year history.

Trains

2 trains with 6 cars per train. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 12 riders per train. Two Timberliner trains. The front of the front car of each train looks like a taxi with Oscar the Grouch, who is donning a yellow cap with Slimey on top of it, driving the taxi.
