Space Shaker is a Pirate Ship located at Aussie World in Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. It was manufactured by Zamperla.[1] The ride was formerly located at the indoor Tops amusement park which closed in 2001.
The ride is unusual in that the swinging gondola is driven by a tire from above instead of from below. This is due to the ride being suspended from above in its original location.[2] As part of its relocation to Aussie World, a new support structure and station was created to support the ride.
