The Water Jumping was a line of water roller coaster models built by Italian manufacturer Fabbri.

The model's main element is its "jump" element, where the ride's track ends during an upward incline, causing the cars to become airborne before splashing into a pool of water, similar to the Nautic Jet by Sunkid, but being a full circuit.

History

The Water Jumper was introduced by Fabbri in 1999,[1] possibly as a high-capacity competitor to the Nautic Jet by Sunkid.

Two sizes were offered, the Single Jump and the Double Jump, with one featuring a single drop, and the other featuring two, prototype models were built for both sizes at Fabbri's factory.[2]

The Double Jump prototype appeared at Hawally Park in Hawally, Kuwait in 2004 as Water Jumping,[3][4] while the Single Jump was for sale on Fabbri's website from 2000 to 2007.[1][5]

The Single Jump would appear at King Carnival in Mandurah, Australia in 2012, being given the name Flying Flume.[6]

Variations

Single Jump

The Single Jump model is the smaller of the two offered, it is a simple oval layout with a single jump & splashdown.

Double Jump

The Double Jump features two jump & splashdowns, with a similar layout to many transportable log flumes, the first drop is shorter than the Single Jump model, while the second drop is taller than it.
