New Palace and Adventureland is an amusement park and arcade located in New Brighton, Merseyside, England, UK. It also contains the indoor Adventureland playground.
History
The park has been owned by David Wilkie since 1999. In 2019, he announced plans to sell the site to developers who would demolish the existing buildings and construct a hotel and flats. The amusement arcade would be retained while the rides would be relocated to a different site in New Brighton. Wilkie said the high maintenance costs of the buildings, which date back to the 1930s, had made the business unsustainable.[1] Despite this, both the indoor and outdoor amusements reopened in 2020.
