Curry's Fun Park Portrush is an amusement park located in Portrush, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, UK. The entrance to Curry's Fun Park is situated across the road from Kiddieland Portrush.

History

In November 2019, the park was put up for sale by its owners, the Trufelli family. In early March 2020, the park announced that it would remain open for the 2020 season.[1] However, the park did not open at all in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.[2] As of the 2021 season, the park is still standing but not operating. In May, the park released a statement saying it was for sale both as a going concern and for redevelopment, and that it would not reopen until the sale was complete.[3] In August the park had been reported to have been sold to developer Michael Herbert.[4] However, these reports were quickly shot down by the owners. In early September, the owners announced that the park had been sold and the business would close. During this time, the entrance of the park got a big sign saying 'All Enquires' and Helter Skelter was dismantled. However, most recently estate agents Osborne King (on behalf of the new buyer) have marked the park for rent as a "unique leisure and entertainment opportunity".

In February 2022, footage was shown of the lights running on the rides and two days later it was confirmed that the park has been leased to the Curry Family who run Curry's Fun Park in Galway.[5] The park was subsequently renamed Curry's Fun Park.[6] The park was expected to reopen on 15 April, but ultimately reopened early on 11 April.[7]
