In-line twist

An in-line twist is a roller coaster inversion where the track twists laterally to form a 360 degree roll.

A similar element is the barrel roll.

An example is Volcano: The Blast Coaster at Kings Dominion, manufactured by Intamin which consits of 3 inverted in-line twists after the main double launch and blast out of the volcano.
