Pretzel loop

A pretzel loop is an inversion seen on Bolliger & Mabillard flying roller coasters. It is essentially a vertical loop which starts elevated and dives downwards. The entrance and exit points cross overlap, forming a shape resembling a pretzel, when viewed from the proper angle. When riders enter a pretzel loop, their backs are pushed back into the seat, causing riders to feel heavy (due to the high amount of positive g-forces exerted) and heightens the feeling of flying. The world's first pretzel loop was seen on Superman Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Over Georgia. The world's tallest pretzel loop is on Tatsu at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Tatsu's pretzel loop stands at 124 feet tall.
