Universal Studios Beijing (Chinese: 北京环球度假区; pinyin: Běijīng Huánqiú Dùjiàqū), commonly known as Universal Beijing, is an upcoming Chinese theme park and entertainment resort complex based in Beijing. The resort is operated by Universal Parks & Resorts. It is owned by NBCUniversal, a division of Comcast, and Beijing Shouhuan Cultural Tourism Investment.

Universal Beijing Resort consists of two theme parks (Universal Studios Beijing and a second planned theme park), a water park, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex (Universal CityWalk Beijing), and six hotels.

History

The park was set to open in May 2021,[1] but this was delayed to 5 July. The opening was pushed back once again, and the park opened on 20 September 2021.[2]

Transportation

The park is served by a dedicated station on the Beijing Subway, which is the terminus of Line 7 and the Ba Tong line.
