Adding Photos
Hey, Jaison! Thanks for all the help around the wiki! When you're adding photos here, you have to be careful. We've gotten in some trouble before for using photos that were not ours. To use a photo here, it has to either be one of your own photos, a public domain photo, or one that has permission from the author and gives credit.
I believe Lachlan5963 knows of some good websites that have given us permission, but I don't know off the top of my head.
Just send either of us a message anytime if you're unsure about something, or need help giving credit. (It's pretty simple. Just click "Edit" on the photo's page and add a link and author's name there.) Hope to see you around some more! MontagnaMagica|Talk 04:57, December 10, 2012 (UTC)
Images
Hi again, when you're uploading files, please 'don't use the Visual Editor or Photo Galleries (I assume this is where you uploaded the file). Please instead use Special:Upload and make sure to name it something descriptive, and either select a licence from the drop-down menu or describe where you got it from in the box. This makes it a lot easier for us to determine whether Coasterpedia is allowed to use the picture or not. Also, Excessive picture galleries are the ultimate enemy, so there's no need to upload more pictures for a page if it already has five. Thanks Lachlan5963 (Talk) 13:38, January 29, 2013 (UTC)
