American Aqua Designs is a water slide manufacturer located in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, USA.
It has had many former names, including Morning Star Manufacturing, Extreme Waterslides, and American Aqua Works.[1][2][3][4]
History
Coy Green & his son Chris started manufacturing fiberglass in 1982 or 1983, but they later transitioned to water slides throughout the mid-1980s.[3][5]
On August 8, 1986, Morning Star Manufacturing was formally established in Savannah, Tennessee, with Coy Green as the owner.[6]
The company would be transferred to Chris Green in 2004.[3]
In 2005, USA Slide purchased Morning Star Manufacturing in an attempt to diversify its product catalog.[7]
Extreme Waterslides was founded by Chris Green in 2008, and it continued to manufacture slides similar to Morning Star while keeping the same portfolio.[2]
The company was rebranded to American Aqua Works (or American Aquaworks) in 2018, and then American Aqua Designs in 2019.[4]
